When Her Young Daughter Called Her Fat, Her Response Was Truly Amazing

Obviously, one of the most important parts of parenting includes how to have difficult conversations with your kids. Your kids should ideally treat everyone with gentleness, kindness, and respect. And, it's the parents' responsibility to teach their children about such important qualities of human life. But, in today's society, it becomes quite complex and challenging to make your kids aware of these apparent human qualities. For an instance, your child may perceive the word "fat" as an undesirable, comical, and bad thing. It has been drilled into their heads that being fat and obese is a matter of shame and disgust. In fact, it's one of the most commonly-used terms that the children often use to insult each other. And, it can severely affect your kid's self-esteem as they grow up.

One mom (Allison Kimmey) became extremely shocked when her own daughter called her "fat". In fact, her daughter was using the "fat" word in a negative and inappropriate way. Therefore, the mother decided to respond. And, the way she efficiently handled the situation is truly amazing and it can be a perfect inspiration for all of us.

Allison Kimmey is a busy mom who loves to wear plus size fashion & swimming outfits. She has a little son and a young little daughter with whom Kimmey use to spend loads of time in the swimming pools and ocean.

One day when Kimmey was asking her daughter to get out of the pool, she overheard that her young little girl was calling her fat in a negative and derogatory way. However, instead of being sad and upset, she pulled her young daughter aside and shared some lessons of wisdom.

On top of that, she further explained that no one is actually fat and even the skinniest and lean people are also having some amounts of fat in their body. This is because fat protects our muscles and bones and supplies the required energy.

In this way, Allison Kimmey intelligently handled the situation and helped her kids to become more sensitive and compassionate. Really hats off to this amazing mother!
